Prophetic Dream: The Black Coats

A few years ago (in 2020 or 2021), I had a dream. Though it was frightening and I truly did not understand what it meant, I believed then [and I believe now] that it was from God. I published it online at the time and then foolishly took it down. I have repented of that and am republishing without any attempt at interpreting what I saw.

In this dream, I was in an old van with a group of local militia. The group was mostly older men, interspersed with a few newly recruited young men. We were together that day [most days] for purely social interaction. Some were drinking and even a bit tipsy. Our attitudes and dress were entirely casual, playful, and nonchalant. We were out for a day in the park (so to speak).

Our van was parked in an isolated and empty parking lot. At the edges of the lot, a large grassy area began sloping upward towards a forested area that almost encircled the parking lot at the top (about an acre or two uphill from where we were parked).

Those of us in the van watched in horror as an army of black-coated black men stepped out of the forest, coming from different directions and coalescing into a perfect formation as they advanced towards us. The men did not have varying colors of skin, like we would normally see in a group of black men. They were not wearing masks or gloves. We could see their faces and their hands.

They all had very black skin--the identical shade of black in every one of the men who were advancing towards us. For that reason, I believe the black skin represents a dark and sinister army that is not literally composed of only black men. I do, however, believe the army of super soldiers, whoever and whatever they are, is literal.

They were all carrying weapons. They were all physically fit and dressed alike in black leather coats.

The army of black coats did not march. They walked almost in slow motion, like they were programmed. They slowly advanced towards us...with deadly purpose, in perfect formation, and in perfect lockstep. They were well armed, and we knew they were well trained. They looked invincible.

We knew they were intent on our utter destruction, and we knew we were no match for them. They walked like they were in some kind of focused trance. They moved in absolute unison, as if they were programmed. They did not speak to or look at one another. They did not look to the right or to the left; they looked straight ahead, straight at us.

And we were utterly unprepared for this army of super-soldiers advancing towards us. We were terrified. Some had guns but no ammo. Others had guns and ammo but didn't know how to use them. We were disorganized, and some of us were even intoxicated.

All we could do was watch in absolute dread as the Black Coats drew ever closer, with more and more of them constantly stepping out of the forest from every direction and immediately coming into formation with them (we knew that some were from our country, but others came from different countries). There was no way we would survive a conflict with this powerful army of automatons, but there was nothing we could do and nowhere to run.

Then, inexplicably, just before they reached our van, in unison, they all stopped. They turned around. And in the same slow-motion but purposeful gait, they walked back up the hill and, leaving just the way they came, disappeared back into the forest.

We all breathed a sigh of relief but understood perfectly that the reprieve was only temporary. The Black Coats would regroup and come again...stronger and even more prepared next time.
